Meetings
Next Meeting Wed. 14th February starting at 2.30pm. Judging the images submitted by members to decide which will be entered in to the British Orchid Council Photographic Competition. Many thanks to those who sent in their orchid images; I now have a good selection to create a Power Point a presentation. Hopefully we will have a nice selection of orchids on display so that after tea/coffee we can have a good table talk. Remember it does not have to be star plants; it can be helpful to bring along problem plant to ask how it can be helped.
March 13th Meeting will be our first of the year with a visiting guest speaker. David Menzies will be coming down from Scotland; he has often given presentations at the society and his talks have always been popular. This talk will be about -
Orchids of Australia.
April 10th Meeting Looking at all the images from the British Orchid Council Photographic Competition and selecting our favourites. All societies will submit their choices and the top three images will probably be announced in July.
May 8th Meeting

Coming Shows
Society Display over the weekend of 23rd & 24th March. We will be doing a display and giving talks at the Arcadia Garden Centre just outside of Stokesley. It is our first attempt to boost membership numbers. More details at the coming meeting.
March 2nd If you fancy a trip out to the first northern orchid show of the year, Sheffield Orchid Society Show is on the Saturday 10:00 am -

Sunday, 14th North East of England Annual Show is on April 2024 Bowburn Community Centre From 11.00am-
BBC Gardeners’ World Live Darlington will be exhibiting in June at the International Orchid Show during the week of Thursday13th, Friday, Saturday: 9am – 6pm Sunday16th: 9am – 5pm National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham.
