Meetings of the

Darlington and District

Orchid Society

are held on the


of each month at the

Sadberge Village Hall from 7.00pm

The Village is situated just to the east of Darlington take

the slip road sign-posted for Sadberge off the A66

heading east towards Teeside.

We have talks and slide shows given by guest

speakers, hands on demonstrations of re-potting etc.,

and a regular table talk about plants brought along

by members. We also arrange trips to orchid events.

All persons interested in the growing and cultivation of

Orchids are welcome to attend. Please, if possible, bring a plant or two for the table

display, or for

cultivation queries.

From Darlington after the big round-a-bout on the A66 for Teesside, the slip road for Sadberge is about half a mile on the left. The Village Hall is the first building on the left. To return to Darlington you must go on into the village, turn right past the Buck Inn, under the A66 and take the slip road on the right.

From Teesside take the slip road for Sadberge, left under the A66 into the village. Left in the village centre and the Hall is the last building on the right. To return to Teesside continue out of the village and left onto the A66
